What makes this pump suitable for hot liquids?
It is rated for liquids up to 95 °C and uses Viton (FKM) shaft seals that withstand high temperatures. This lets it handle hot processes that would degrade standard seals, such as certain juice or wine operations.
What range of food liquids can it handle?
It is designed for food-grade liquids including wine, beer, juice, milk and vinegar, with a working pH range of about 3 to 11. The patented coating on the body adds corrosion resistance for these acidic and varied media.
How does using a foot valve change the suction depth?
Without a valve the pump draws from roughly 3 metres, while fitting a foot valve extends the suction depth to about 6 metres. Choose the setup based on how far below the pump your source sits.
How should it be connected and run?
It uses a 230 V supply with a Schuko 16 A plug and has a fixed flow rate. Keep it within its rated pressure and temperature limits, and avoid running it dry to protect the seals.
