Why is CO2 dosed both before and after filling each can?
CO2 is purged into the can before filling to drive out oxygen, then dosed again after filling to cap the headspace. Removing oxygen protects flavour and shelf life, while the post-fill dose preserves carbonation as the lid is sealed. This double dosing keeps canned beer fresh and lively.
What carbonation level can the isobaric system handle?
The machine fills isobarically and is set up for carbonation of 4.5–5.5 g/l, the typical range for beer and sparkling beverages. Counter-pressure filling at this level prevents the foaming and CO2 loss that ruin a fill. Keep the product within this range for clean, accurate filling.
Which can sizes does the CF-30 fill and seal?
It handles cans of 63–66 mm diameter in heights from 33 cl to 50 cl, the common formats for beer and soft drinks. The mechanical lid sealer closes each can after filling. If you need a different can diameter, check change-part availability before ordering.
What does the automatic weight control add to the line?
Each filled can is weighed automatically, so under- or over-filled cans are caught before sealing rather than reaching the customer. This protects both legal fill volume and product giveaway at up to 1200 cans an hour. It also flags filling faults early so you can correct them quickly.
