Designed for both the commercial sector using corny kegs and for high-end homebrew use. Now features a collar lip for easier attaching and detaching.

What does the grey colour coding mean and can I use it on the liquid post?
Grey marks this as the gas-side disconnect. On a ball lock keg the gas (in) and liquid (out) posts are different sizes, so the fittings are not interchangeable. Fit the grey disconnect only to the gas post and use a black liquid disconnect for the beverage line; the colour coding stops you cross-connecting your CO2 and dispense lines.
How does the MFL thread connect to my gas line?
MFL (Male Flare) is a threaded standard that accepts a matching FFL swivel fitting. You can screw on a duotight push-in (8 mm or 9.5 mm) for tool-free tubing, or a traditional swivel nut and barb for clamped hose. The disconnect stays the same; you only change the FFL fitting on the thread to suit your line.
Why choose a machined stainless steel disconnect over a plastic one?
Machined from 304 stainless steel rather than moulded plastic, it withstands repeated connect and disconnect cycles, cleaning chemicals and heat without the wear or stress-cracking plastic can develop. The added collar lip gives a firmer grip, making it easier to attach and release under pressure - useful where kegs are changed often.
Will it fit my keg and how do I attach it cleanly?
It suits 19 L ball lock kegs and 50 L kegs converted with ball lock couplers. Push it straight onto the post until the collar seats, and keep the post o-rings lightly coated with food-grade keg lubricant so the disconnect seals and releases smoothly and the seals last over many cycles.
