BrewZilla Steam Condenser Kit - 2" Tri Clover Connection

Made from quality 304 stainless steel, this condenser lid is ideal for apartment or basement brewers who struggle with steam and condensation management on brew day.

Easy to use and assemble, compatible with many different configurations. The kit includes a removable end cap for adding hops, yeast nutrients, or fining agents during the boil.

This steam condenser lid fits 35L or 65L BrewZilla/DigiBoil units with stainless steel distillation lid and 2-inch port. This device allows indoor brewing without sticky steam damaging your freshly painted interior!

The end cap can be removed to add brewing salts, hops, and other necessary ingredients during the boil. Please note that hot steam through this opening can cause serious burns, use heat-resistant gloves.

You'll not only reach boiling faster but also use less energy to maintain the boil as there's less surface area for heat dissipation. No need to install the unit in a kitchen or garage requiring a special hood. Simply attach it to the condenser lid and connect a kitchen tap or garden hose to the inlet. You don't need a very fast water flow to cool boiling steam into liquid.

Unlike distillation, where the distillate needs to be below a certain temperature to prevent ethanol from rapidly evaporating from the liquid, with boiling wort you just need enough cooling to create liquid! Pretty simple.

An environmentally friendly solution if you have the ability to collect cooling water. It can be used later in the garden or for cleaning. Please note that the outlet water is very hot!

The spray head can condense 1.6 liters per minute when connected to 100 psi water supply.

Important Safety Warning

It is crucial that this steam condenser's outlet pipe remains open to air. This allows condensed steam to exit freely.

DO NOT put a valve on the liquid outlet or restrict the condensed steam in any way as this can cause the brewing unit to collapse or explode due to vacuum.

DO NOT submerge the condensed steam tube in water. The outlet pipe must be open to air and condensed steam drops must be allowed to drip freely into a collection bucket.

Working Principle

The steam condenser's working principle is simple: it converts hot steam generated during brewing back into liquid using cooling water flow. This enables indoor brewing without excess moisture and saves energy as less heat is lost to the environment.
