Tank 1000L for fermentation with air floating lid stainless steel
Usage: Ideal product for storing wine and food liquids. Constructed of stainless steel AISI 304 with a fluted exterior finish. The bottom of the tank is rounded and welded for easy cleaning.

I screw the tap all the way in, but it doesn't stay straight. How can I fix it?
It is not necessary to screw it all the way in. Just tighten it until the tap is straight before reaching the end of the thread.
Proper use of floating air lids: Always fill the tank with wine. Place the stainless steel float lid on the surface of the wine. Unscrew the valve on the pump to allow inflation. Inflate the tube to about 0.7atm. Check that the tube is tight against the inner surface of the tank and close the valve of the pump. Check the air pressure every 15 days.

What material is the container made of?

How does a floating air cap work?
The stainless steel lid floats on the surface of the wine. The inflatable chamber is inflated to about 0.7 atm, pressing tightly against the inner wall of the container. This creates an airtight seal that prevents oxidation and adapts to different liquid levels.
How often should air pressure be checked?
Check chamber air pressure every 15 days. A properly filled seal (about 0.7 atm) ensures that the cap fits tightly against the container wall and protects the wine from exposure to air.

Yes. AISI 304 stainless steel is a certified food grade material and the welded round base makes cleaning easy, ensuring hygienic storage of wine, wort and other food liquids.
