Stainless Steel Fermentation Tank with Cooling Jacket - Perfect for Wine Making

High-quality stainless steel fermentation tank equipped with an efficient cooling jacket (0.91m²/400mm) ensuring optimal temperature control during wine fermentation. The tank capacity is 500L with dimensions of 794mm (diameter) x 1320mm (height).

Tank features:

Robust construction with conical bottom and stable legs
Bottom valve (1") for easier emptying
Sampling valve (1/2") for quality control
Top valve (5/4") for filling
Three different lids: sealing lid, floating dust lid, and dust lid
Integrated thermometer and level indicator for precise monitoring

This tank is excellent for both wine fermentation and short-term storage. The use of stainless steel ensures hygiene and long service life. The cooling jacket allows precise control of the fermentation process temperature.

What is the cooling jacket for during fermentation?

It lets you control the temperature of the ferment; precise temperature control gives a cleaner, more predictable fermentation, especially in warm conditions.

Why does it come with three different lids?

A sealing lid, a floating lid and a dust lid suit different stages - the floating lid rests on the liquid surface to limit air contact during fermentation, while the others suit sealed storage and dust protection.

How does the conical bottom help?

Sediment collects at the cone and the bottom valve lets you draw it off or empty the tank fully, making racking and cleaning easier.

Is there anything to note about its capacity?

The actual capacity can vary up to about 10% from nominal, so plan headspace for active fermentation so the tank does not overflow.
