What is the purpose of the conical lid with seal?
The waterproof conical lid with its adjustable clamp closes the tank against contamination and limits air contact during storage, which is important when storing concentrates and essences that can oxidise or pick up odours.
Why is the interior mirror-polished while the exterior is satin?
The mirror-polished interior leaves fewer micro-crevices for residue and bacteria, making cleaning and sanitising more effective; the satin exterior hides handling marks and is easier to maintain on the outside.
How should the 1/2" dosing valve be maintained?
Rinse and drain the valve after each use and periodically dismantle it for thorough cleaning, since dried product in the valve body is a common cause of leaks and contamination.
Is AISI 304 suitable for all liquids?
AISI 304 is excellent for most food liquids and water-based products, but for prolonged contact with high-salt or strongly acidic products a more resistant grade may be preferable; check your product's chloride content.
