What is the right dose?
The standard dose is 15g per 25 L of liquid. In very difficult clarification cases — for example wort with a high protein content or persistent cloudiness — the dose can be doubled (30g / 25 L). Always stay within the manufacturer's recommended limits.
How to prepare bentonite before adding?
Dissolve the bentonite in cold water (about 10 times its weight), mix thoroughly into a smooth suspension and allow to soak briefly. Then add to the drink, stir and let the sediment fall out before filtering.
