The S150N filter plate provides a filtration accuracy of 25 microns, retaining fine suspended particles, yeast cells and larger impurities. This makes it suitable for the clarifying filtration of juices, wines and similar drinks, giving a visually clear result and preserving flavor and aroma compounds.
What is the maximum working pressure?
The maximum permissible pressure difference across the filter plate is 3 bar. Exceeding this can damage the plate structure and reduce the quality of filtration. For best results, increase the pressure gradually during operation and monitor it on the pressure gauge on the filter housing.
For which filter press is the 20x20cm plate suitable?
The 20x20cm plate fits standard 20x20 plate filter presses, which are widely used in small and medium-sized wineries, cider houses and juice producers. Always check the plate format of your press before ordering to ensure compatibility.
Can the filter plates be reused?

How many liters can one plate filter?
Permeability depends on fluid turbidity, pre-filtration and operating pressure. On average, one 20x20cm 25µ plate can filter several tens of liters of pre-clarified wine or juice. Very turbid liquids clog the plates more quickly, so coarse pre-filtration is recommended.
