Usage: This Duotight fitting with 1/4" BSP thread is designed for secure connection of 8mm OD hose to gas regulators, manifolds, and other threaded equipment. Features a dual o-ring system for superior sealing performance.
Features: Double EPDM o-ring sealing design provides twice the sealing surface compared to standard push-in fittings. No clamps required - simply push the hose in for a secure connection. The collet release mechanism allows easy disconnection. Compatible with EVAbarrier 4mm x 8mm and 5mm x 8mm hose.
Technical data: Thread: 1/4" BSP male. Hose connection: 8mm OD push-in. Material: EPDM o-rings (ethylene propylene rubber). Maximum working pressure: 100 psi. Suitable for gas and liquid applications. Temperature range: Chemical resistant to ozone, oils, alkaline and acid compounds, water, alcohol, ketone and beverages. BPA free.
Warnings: Ensure hose is cut straight, not at an angle, for complete seal. To remove fitting, push in the collet while pulling the hose. This fitting is not a replacement thermowell bulkhead for 60cm thermowell.
⚠️ Important: Maximum working pressure 100 psi. Do not exceed this pressure as it may cause leaks or fitting failure. Always test connections before pressurizing the system.

Which hose does it suit, and why cut it straight?
It is made for 8 mm outer-diameter hose such as EVAbarrier 4 mm × 8 mm and 5 mm × 8 mm. The hose must be cut straight rather than at an angle so the double o-ring can seal completely.
Can it be used for both gas and liquid?
Yes. The dual EPDM o-ring design seals on both gas and liquid lines. Note that it is not a replacement thermowell bulkhead for the 60 cm thermowell.
