Why does this tank have two hatches?
The upper closing lid is for filling and top access, while the lower cleaning hatch gives direct access to the base for washing and emptying. Together they make cleaning between batches much easier than a single-opening tank.
What is the purpose of the two air-release valves?
They regulate air movement as the tank fills and empties, preventing pressure or vacuum from building up. This protects the tank and keeps liquid flowing smoothly through the discharge valve.
How does the conical bottom help in daily use?
The 5% conical base channels liquid and sediment to the 1-inch bottom discharge valve, so the tank drains almost completely and settled solids can be separated. It also reduces the residue left to clean.
How should I interpret the 300L rating?
It is nominal, and the real capacity may vary up to about 10% for technical reasons. Use the integrated level gauge to track the actual fill level rather than assuming exactly 300 litres.
