Tank 400L with oil floating lid stainless steel
Usage: Ideal for wine and liquid food storage with floating paraffin oil lid system that prevents air contact with the liquid.
Features: Stainless steel 18/10 construction with flower patterned embossed exterior. Concave welded bottom for easy cleaning. Complete with stainless steel threaded bushing for tap application. The floating lid is positioned on the liquid surface, and paraffin oil is poured between the float edge and tank inner surface. The paraffin oil is odorless, tasteless and being lighter than wine stays afloat, preventing oxidation.

How much paraffin oil is needed for a floating lid?
A 400L container requires approximately 1.5L of paraffin oil used in the food industry. Pour it between the edge of the floating lid and the inner wall of the container until a uniform 1-2 cm sealing layer forms on the surface of the liquid. The oil is odorless, tasteless and stays on the wine.
Is the container suitable for contact with food?
Yes, the container is made of AISI 304 stainless steel 18/10, which is completely food safe. Suitable for storing wine, olive oil, vinegar and other liquid foods. The concave welded bottom and smooth inner surface ensure hygienic storage and easy cleaning.
How to clean the tank correctly?
Rinse the container with warm water and a neutral food grade detergent, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Avoid abrasives and products containing chlorine, which can damage the stainless steel surface. Dry before storing to avoid water stains.
Can I install a larger one instead of a 3/4" faucet?
The welded grommet is sized for a 3/4" tap. Installing a different size would require grommet modification, which is not recommended as it may compromise the tightness and stainless steel structure. We recommend keeping the original 3/4" tap configuration.
