Frequently asked questions about IPP0350
What container sizes is this thermal belt suitable for?
Polifascia 1200 is designed for stainless steel tanks with a diameter of 1200mm. The modular system makes it possible to cover tanks with a volume of 600 to 50,000 liters by connecting several modules in series or parallel connection. The length is adjustable from 2 to 13 meters.
What temperature range does the thermal belt support?
The operating temperature is -10°C to +60°C. Can be used for cooling with cold water during fermentation or for heating with hot water (+50-60°C). This makes the product versatile both for controlling the temperature of red wine fermentation and for heating cool cellars.
Can the thermal belt be used repeatedly on different containers?
Yes. The polypropylene construction is light and flexible, allowing the belt to be easily removed and transferred to other containers. This makes the product a very economical solution for basements, where only some of the tanks need temperature control at the same time.
Is this thermal belt suitable for insulated containers?
No. The belt is designed for external installation on bare stainless steel tanks. Heated containers or containers with a fastening system that prevents safe installation of the outer belt are not suitable. Internal cooling solutions should be used for heated tanks.
How are multiple modules connected?
The modules can be connected in series or in parallel depending on the size of the tank and the desired flow rate. Each module has an area of 1.1m² and a height of 336mm, so several modules can be stacked vertically to cover the full height of larger containers.
