Frequently asked questions about IPP0167
What containers is this thermal belt compatible with?
Polifascia 950 is designed for stainless tanks with a diameter of 950mm and a rim depth of 2890mm. Suitable for tanks from 600 to 50,000 liters, being versatile for both small cellars and larger production companies.
Can it be used for both heating and cooling?
Yes, the belt works for heating with hot water (+50…+60°C) and cooling with cold water (-10°C), connected to flexible mobile systems. This makes it ideal for managing fermentation temperature or supporting malolactic fermentation.
Where should the belt be placed on the container?
Place a belt in the upper part of the tank to control fermentation temperature or in the lower part to support malo-lactic acid fermentation. Several modules can be connected in series or in parallel to achieve a larger surface area.
Does the belt fit older tanks?
Definitely. The belt is specifically designed for easy installation on existing, especially older stainless tanks that do not have an integrated cooling shroud. It is light, economical and easy to move between containers.
What is the operating temperature range?
The polypropylene belt operates safely between -10°C and +60°C. The polypropylene cover is compact for transport and storage and the length can be varied between 2 and 13 meters depending on the configuration.
