Gelatin (5.25kg) GECOLL SUPRA
Liquid gelatin produced from a selection of exceptionally pure raw materials, exclusively of porcine origin. Qualified for the elaboration of products for direct human consumption in the field of the regulated use in Oenology. In accordance with the current EU regulation n° 2019/934 and the Food Chemical Codex (FCC).
Specifications: GECOLL™ SUPRA is characterised by a high and stable surface charge density depending on the pH. It is a fining agent intended for promoting the organoleptic potential of wines, stabilising the colloidal state, and clarifying wines and musts by eliminating haze particles.
Applications: Recommended for treating red wines of high cellaring potential, primeur red wines with highly reactive tannins, rosé wines, and dry or sweet white wines. Favours clarification of must during settling.
Physical characteristics: Liquid, clear, slightly amber. Density: 1032±2 g/L.
Chemical analysis: SO₂: 3.3±0.3 g/L, pH: 3.4±0.4, Dry extract: >5%.
Dosage: 40 to 100 mL/hL based on laboratory trials.
Implementation: Rapidly homogenise into total wine volume during pump-over. For barrels, dilute in 250 mL water per 1000 mL product. OENODOSEUR use recommended.
Storage: Store in dry, odour-free area at moderate temperature. Optimal use: 30 months.
